Identification:The ferruginous hawk is rufous above and whitish below. It has rufous wrist patches and leg feathers, black primary tips, and feathered legs and feet.

Reproduction:Nests are built in the tops of trees. Both parents incubate their 2-4 eggs for a total of 32-33 days. The chicks fledge when they are 40-50 days old.
